At Aliments Montivelle, we believe Québec has a lot to bring to the table. Good ingredients, people who know their craft, and local suppliers with plenty to offer.
As of October 2026, the company behind Montivelle has been owned by Nicolas Christin for five years. Today, we’re taking it in a new direction: making frozen foods that we’d be happy to serve at our own tables.
The idea grew out of seeing familiar food brands leave the Québec market. It got us thinking: why not build something here? We have so much close to home to work with, and we believe there’s room for new favourites alongside the foods people have enjoyed for years.
That’s where Montivelle began.
We’ve chosen to make our food ourselves. We want to be in the kitchen, working on the recipes, tasting them and getting them right.
Our goal is to work with Québec suppliers and use fresh, locally sourced ingredients wherever we can. As we develop our meals, we look forward to getting to know the people behind those ingredients and seeing what we can make together.
We’re starting with two brands. Each has its own personality, but both are about making it a little easier to put a meal you enjoy on the table.
We’re just getting started, and we hope that, in time, a few of our favourites will become yours too.
