About this policy
This policy explains how Aliments Montivelle handles personal information connected with its website and inquiries about Nonna Rosa and Assiette Santé. It applies to visitors, people who contact us and potential partners who wish to discuss the collection.
The website presents the company and products in preparation. It does not offer online purchases, customer accounts or newsletter subscriptions. This policy does not replace notices for any future services.
Information collected
When forms are enabled, the general form requests your name, email and message. Phone is optional. The partner form also requests the business name and its city or region; product selection is optional. The form language, form identifier and privacy-notice version accompany the inquiry.
Hosting and security providers may process technical data such as IP address, browser type, requested page and connection date or time to deliver the site, diagnose errors and limit abuse. The website’s code does not send entered form data to Montivelle before you submit it.
Please do not include medical information, payment-card numbers, identity documents or other sensitive information in these forms. Attachments are not accepted. Providing information is voluntary, but without a way to reply or the information necessary for your inquiry we may be unable to respond.
Why we use this information
We use the information needed to answer your question, carry out the follow-up you request, discuss a potential business relationship and operate and protect the website. Submitting a form does not place an order or subscribe you to advertising.
We do not sell your information or use it to build an advertising profile. Access within Montivelle is restricted to people who need it to handle the inquiry or protect personal information. Service providers may process information needed to deliver their services, subject to applicable terms. Information may also be disclosed where authorized or required by law.
Hosting, service providers and processing locations
The website is intended to be hosted by Netlify, Inc. Netlify delivers the pages and, when forms are enabled, receives and stores inquiries. Its documentation states that submissions are screened by Akismet, Automattic’s spam-filtering service. Netlify also uses infrastructure and storage providers, including Amazon Web Services. Netlify identifies these subprocessors as located in the United States in its public register. Your information may therefore be processed or stored outside Québec, including in the United States, and be subject to applicable laws there. Netlify’s list covers several services; it does not mean that every provider receives every inquiry. We do not promise Canada-only hosting.
Email sent to contact@montivelle.ca and inquiry notifications are also processed by the email service used for that address so that we can respond. Email, security and backup providers may participate in this processing and may be located outside Québec. For details about the relevant providers and processing locations, contact our Privacy Officer.
Retention and deletion
We retain inquiries and correspondence only for the time needed to respond, complete the requested follow-up and meet applicable legal obligations. Once these purposes have been fulfilled, information that is no longer needed is deleted from active records and copies under our control. Any additional retention must have a documented legal justification. Partner contact information is kept only while needed for an active relationship or business discussion. A monthly check of forms, email and exports helps identify and remove unnecessary information; it does not replace deletion as soon as the purpose has been fulfilled. Providers’ technical logs and backups follow their own security and deletion cycles, which we assess through our service arrangements. We do not promise instantaneous deletion from every backup.
Protection and responsibilities
Montivelle remains responsible for information entrusted to it. The Privacy Officer oversees privacy requests, authorized access and retention rules. We apply reasonable safeguards suited to the information and risks, including restricting administrative access and protecting accounts.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a confidentiality incident, we take steps to limit its effects and provide any notices required by law. Before entrusting information to a provider outside Québec, we assess privacy risks and applicable contractual safeguards.
Your rights and questions
You may request access to your personal information and correction of inaccurate, incomplete or ambiguous information. Where the legal conditions apply, you may also request communication of your computerized personal information in a structured, commonly used technological format.
You may withdraw consent for future uses that depend on it, subject to legal exceptions and obligations. You may also request deletion of information whose retention is no longer justified. This is not an absolute right to erase every record, particularly where the law requires retention.
Send your written request to the Privacy Officer listed on this page. We may verify your identity proportionately; do not send a copy of an identity document without being asked. We respond diligently to access or correction requests, no later than 30 days after receipt, in accordance with the applicable rules.
To raise a concern or make a complaint about our practices, use the same contact and describe the situation. You may also contact the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec and use the remedies it describes.
Cookies, tracking and external links
This version’s website code includes no advertising cookies, tracking pixels, audience-analytics tools, local form storage or profiling modules. Language choice and product selection use website links. Hosting and security providers’ technical processing is separate from these features.
Following a link to another website takes you to a service with its own privacy practices. We do not control external websites’ practices. Any future addition of tracking tools or a new collection purpose will require a review of this policy and, where necessary, separate consent.
Updates
We review this policy when our practices or services change. The displayed update date identifies the version in effect. Material changes are communicated appropriately; continuing to visit the website does not by itself provide consent to a new use that would require your agreement.
