What we hope to bring to the frozen-food aisle

Montivelle began with a simple question. After seeing familiar food brands leave the Québec market, we wondered what we could build here in our own way.

Our first selection brings together twelve dishes in development. We chose them with the meals we enjoy at home in mind, and the hope that they will find a place in busy weeks.

We want the collection to make sense at a glance. Mushroom ravioli should speak to someone who enjoys pasta. A chickpea curry should have its own place in the week. A pizza should still feel like a straightforward pleasure to share.

Preparing the food ourselves is part of our direction. It keeps the recipes, ingredient choices and adjustments at the centre of the project. We also hope to work with Québec suppliers wherever possible.

There is work ahead before launch. We will share package formats, ingredient information and places to buy once they are confirmed. For now, we are pleased to show you what is taking shape.
